Richter is a hack, hehe. Is he even still alive?
I don't think Richter is actually talking about the letters i.s.m. He means the pursuit of form. To be creative, and trying new things is a great pursuit for an artist, and explains his personal multiplicity. Survival is the same in away, but applies to everyone, whether they call themselves artist or not. Change should be a universal human pursuit if we want to have any hope for future. The majority of the species in the world have gone extinct. Only those who adapt or have reached a truely adaptable form (ie: a salamander) have a chance. Lets not grow too rigidly!
Is that hostility behind anonymity? Maybe it IS obvious, but at least I am trying to communicate. Also, I am more of a detective than you give me credit for...
